Chellodivas is represent the Guajarati urban culture
especially Ahmadabad. It can de see in two perspective, one for entertainment
and second is criticize on urban culture. This same we can see in Chetan
Bhagat’s novels. “કાનને સીધો નહીં તો આડો પકડવો”. If it is extreme reality
then people would start fighting each other but we just put it opposite with
funny thing then the thing will change.
Some dialogues have deep meaning like તમને યાર બધા
જોવે તો problem નથી મારો ભાઈબંધ બિચારો જોવે તો Problem બોલ, તે કૉફી કેમ માગવી?etc
Family and specially
girls are criticized. Pooja is looking at herself as she is doing mistake but
instead of it she blaming Loy that Rigid mentalities of girls or boys are
evoked. If the principal is like Ghansham than, what about his college or
student?
Constructed idea Evoked like Nikhil and Vandana’s break up
just for the sake of getting coffee and whatever she is doing as a girlfriend
of Nikhil is seemed surreal.
Viki’s uncle is trusty of college so this kind of partiality
we can see in our education field also. Viki is a notorious boy and his friends
are too as સંગ તેવો રંગ but authority
can’t act on them because Viki’s unckle is trusty so there is no chance for him
to suspend or punish.
Teacher’s and student’s reality is different and show off is
different like principal Ghansham is a damn and not appropriate but Viiki praising
him and he believed that Viki is really praising him. This kind of pretending
is everywhere we can see but one day it is always falsify by person himself.
I think some dialogues have meaning but it is totally for
entertainment director has considered the perspective of large audience and so
he get success for this film. Some saying this is representing dark side of
Gujarati culture but in Hindi movie there are also representation of darker
side for example “Grand Masti”, Kya cool hai Ham”. So we can’t blame director
or actors that they are constructing misconnect. It depend on audience that how
they consider it. Some films are religion so people start banning it but I
think mostly all films are released slowly and steadily like “Ramleela”, “OMG”,
“Bajirav Mastani” etc.
