Poem Dharti ki Shan and it's analysis

Reaspected sir,

Here, I put a small Hindi poem  'Dhartikishan' (धरती की शान) writen by Bharat Vyas Ji.

POEM

धरती की शान 

                                   -Bharat Vyas Ji

धरती की शान तू भारत की सन्तान
तेरी मुठ्ठियों में बन्द तूफ़ान है रे
मनुष्य तू बडा महान है भूल मत
मनुष्य तू बडा महान् है ॥धृ॥

तू जो चाहे पर्वत पहाडों को फोड दे
तू जो चाहे नदीयों के मुख को भी मोड दे
तू जो चाहे माटी से अमृत निचोड दे
तू जो चाहे धरती को अम्बर से जोड दे
अमर तेरे प्राण ---२ मिला तुझको वरदान
तेरी आत्मा में स्वयम् भगवान है रे॥१॥

---मनुष्य तू बडा महान है
नयनो से ज्वाल तेरी गती में भूचाल
तेरी छाती में छुपा महाकाल है
पृथ्वी के लाल तेरा हिमगिरी सा भाल
तेरी भृकुटी में तान्डव का ताल है
निज को तू जान ---२ जरा शक्ती पहचान
तेरी वाणी में युग का आव्हान है रे ॥२॥

----मनुष्य तू बडा महान् है
धरती सा धीर तू है अग्नी सा वीर
तू जो चाहे तो काल को भी थाम ले
पापोंका प्रलय रुके पशुता का शीश झुके
तू जो अगर हिम्मत से काम ले
गुरु सा मतिमान् ---२ पवन सा तू गतिमान
तेरी नभ से भी उंची उडान है रे ॥३॥
---मनुष्य तू बडा महान है

Analysis of the poem :-

The poem is address to brave man. The poet says that Man has all of power and he use separate organs of the body to indicates the power of Man like, a close fist, eyes, chest etc.

At first he says that Man is a son of India so he is an honor of India. A Man has capacity to crush the mountain, to change the way of river, to join the earth to the sky. Here poet also satires you can do all things because God is within you.  It means God is always support to man.

In the second quatrain he uses personification. He says नयनो से ज्वाल (fire) गती में भूचाल (earth quakes) छाती में महाकाल. He also provoke Man that you use your strength and speech. It is always support you to get success.

At the end he compares nature with human beings, “There is will, and there is way”. If Man’s wish to stop time, to prevent sin He can. If Man work by heart He can be similar like Guru.

In this poem poet himself becomes a speaker and he address to man. He use common metaphor is मनुष्य तू बडा महान् है | We can says that words itself becomes an image like ज्वाल, भूचाल, नदीयों, पर्वत.
